THIS IS OUR MUSIC: Squeeze – “Slap and Tickle”.

Short interview with Jools Holland followed by footage from 3rd April 1979. An early lineup including John Bentley (who had just replaced Harri Kakoulli) on bass and Gilson Lavis (who had replaced Paul Gunn several years earlier) on drums.

“Slap And Tickle” was the fourth and final single released from Squeeze’s second album, Cool for Cats (1979). “Slap and tickle” is a British euphemism for sexual activity or police brutality.
